Welcome the promise of somewhere new with this September Hobonichi Monthly Kit.
Designed to feel nostalgic, adventurous, and quietly cozy, this sheet captures a small wonder that begins before the journey even starts: having a ticket in hand, a suitcase packed, and somewhere new waiting at the other end of the tracks.
This kit is part of my A Year of Small Wonders collection, a year-long series celebrating small, comforting moments throughout the seasons.
The September kit features Cookie waiting at a charming vintage train station with a suitcase and ticket, ready to set off on a new adventure. Coordinating doodles and details are inspired by old-fashioned railway travel, including a tiny train engine, station clock, lantern, railroad tracks, luggage, and travel ticket. A softly faded vintage-map pattern carries the feeling of exploration throughout the coordinating designs.
The palette combines aged teal green, warm leather browns, antique brass, soft cream, and muted blue-gray for a nostalgic, slightly industrial look that still feels gentle and easy to use in your planner. All artwork is original and carefully designed to stay clear and readable even at small sticker sizes.
